The Research Centre for Museums and Galleries, Leicester University was commissioned, in 2002, to conduct an audit of published material around barriers to engagement. This resource list is an updated version of the list produced as phase one of 'Not for the likes of you'. It includes new resources and reflects new developments and insights in the rapidly evolving field of access, inclusion and equality. It details useful sources of guidance and information to assist arts and cultural practitioners in engaging with and meeting the needs of underrepresented audiences.
