This research report looks at Arts Council England, Yorkshire's Regional Challenge project, a pilot audience development initiative, The Arts and Young People.
The Arts and Young People project had lifelong learning for young people at the heart of its aims, and this report examines the 11 arts organisations which took part and the outcomes of their projects. The report also describes how the organisations themselves evaluated their projects, the success of adopting certain evaluation methods and the development of an ‘umbrella’ approach to evaluation.
